Ellen Tells All!

I want to start off by asking if you guys watch the Ellen DeGeneres Show. If you do, what do you think about it? I personally think Ellen is hilarious and I love the fact that she does not care what people think of her. She is the way she is and is very happy with life and happy with her girlfriend of nearly one year, actress Portia de Rossi. She has said of Rossi that “It’s the first time that I’ve known in every cell of my being that I’m with somebody for the rest of my life.” In addition to her happiness with her girlfriend, her show is amazing and has earned nine Daytime Emmy Awards. Ellen seems to have it all right now. However, when starting her show business she was unsure of how things would turn out. Many asked Ellen why she was going to do a talk show and that everyone fails but Ellen said "You have to do things that it doesn’t matter how many people failed. You have to take chances.” I feel as Ellen is a very strong person and is where she is today because of how strong she actually is. I hope she continues her success and her relationship with Rossi grows more and more. Wait to go Ellen!

Also this week in People, Jennifer Aniston takes on Manhattan to promote her new movie, Derailed. She was seen out at the hot-spots, dining with friends and just out on the town. In addition, she attended a Halloween party with costar Clive Owens at Nobu 57. In addition to news on Jennifer Aniston, she will be on Larry King Live on November 8th so be sure to watch it. However, Aniston deflected questions on the show that had to do with her relationship with Vince Vaughn but we all know that they are an item. Just a quick peak at the show, King asked "Is it serious?" about the romance, but couldn't get much from Aniston "I'm not talking about it," she said. So I guess we will have to watch and see Larry King to see if she says anything about her relationship.

Ellen DeGeneres is one of the funniest comedians and talk show hosts out there. I watch her show everyday. Something I've picked up on is that when she comes out and cracks jokes for 10 minutes before dancing, she always ties in the fact that she drinks vodka into her script. I'm starting to think shes an alcoholic, but I really like her as a person so I don't want to start any rumors.
Her show is so creative and uplifting. If I'm ever having a bad day she definitely puts a smile on my face. She has natural personal skills and her guests always laugh on her show. She also is a big advocate of animal rights and raising money for good causes. Shes a good person and I'm really happy that her life has changed from being "the lesbian on the ellen show that everyone thought was weird, to a hilarious proud woman." Go Ellen =)

When is the Larry King Live show on? I want to see Jennifer on that show.

I think Ellen DeGeneres has really made a great comeback. I feel like she was out of the public eye for quite sometime but now is back and bigger than ever. She is hysterical and I am a huge fan of her show. Nine day time Emmy awards is quite impressive, but not at all surprising. She always has great guests on and is simply entertaining all by herself! I think it is great that she is so happy with her girlfriend and life, why shouldn’t she be? She seems to have it all right now, a great relationship, a great show and happiness. As for Jennifer Aniston taking Manhattan for her new film Derailed, I think the movie looks good and I definitely want to check it out. And for Larry King, I am watching it now and Larry keeps trying to catch her off guard about Vince and although she’s not saying much she is smiling and blushing quite a bit for him to just be her friend! I really hope they are an item because I think they are so cute together!

Personally, I think Ellen is great. Her show is heart-felt and fun. She deserves to be the best on daytime television right now. Sorry Oprah...

As far as Jennifer Aniston is concerning, I think she is getting WAY too much publicity. In my opion, she isn't ALL that. Yeah, she's cute...but come on, she isn't THAT great of an actor.

If Jennifer A. didn't learn from her first marraige to "keep it on the down-low", then she's an idiot. The pics with her and Vince are just for publicity. I'm sure pics like these are set up of all the time just to get people to go see the movies that these actors are in. Jennifer seems really good natured and down-home on camera, but let's give it a rest. I'm tired of hearing about her.

I watch the Ellen DeGeneres show every time I can. I absolutely love her as well as her show - I think she really has a distinct personality that almost anyone can love. She has so many unique features on her show that grab peoples' attention. I am so happy for her that she is in a relationship that makes her so happy. She is such a positive person even after all the media ridicule she received after "coming out," and that is so amazing about her. She loves to make people laugh and, in my opinion, does a great job of it!

I love Ellen! I think she's so funny and if you ever watch her show, it's hilarious. The fact that she comes out dancing and continues to dance through the audiance is great. She gets everyone in such a great mood and makes people smile. She seems to be also really happy lately, with her relationship with Portia. I had no idea before reading the article that she had a tough childhood and had been molested by her step-father. For someone to be that strong and now make so many people laugh is so great!

About a month ago my 86 year-old grandma said to me "Do you watch that show Ellen? I think that Ellen girl is my favorite lesbian!" I seriously fell out of my chair and cracked up when she said this. Besides the fact that she is 86 years old, watches 1950's black and white movies all day long as well as really really blunt with her words, she is absolutely right! I LOVE the Ellen Show. I think she is soooo funny and her show is so unique and always entertaining. I was so pissed last semester when my classes conflicted with her show and I didn't get to watch it anymore! Seriously, she makes me laugh even if I am in the worst mood or having the worst day! Also, it is no surprise to me that Jen is all hush hush about her relationship with Vince. I swear, I hate when they beat around the bush in interviews when asked questions about their personal life and try to avoid answering it. Personally, by not commenting, it seems like she is embarassed to admit it. I mean your a celebrity, we all want to know every detail about your life, it comes with the title. On the other hand, there are the over the top love birds that you wish wouldn't talk about their relationship. Must I even say it: TOM CRUISE!!!

I watch Ellen's daytime talk show and I would have to agree that I think it is absolutely hilarious. My favorite part is when she does her little dance number. She puts on a great song and dances to it throughout her audience. She has some very interesting dance moves which always give me a laugh. When she is interviewing her guests, her interviews are not typical, boring ones and I always find my self laughing out loud. I am glad Ellen has found happiness in her personal life. Portia is beautiful and I hope the two continue to date. As for lovely Jennifer Aniston, I am glad she is out and about in the city. I really wish we could learn more details about her and Vince's relationship! I guess you need to respect their privacy and when the pair is ready they will talk and I will definitely be listening!

I watch Ellen all the time and I think she is hilarious. I love that she starts her show by dancing withthe audience. It shows that not only does she want to have fun but she wants her audience to have a great time as well. Plus she is very generous, after the Tsunami she raised millions of dollars for the victims and really made people want to contribute. She is truly a humanitarian. Aside from her generousity, Ellen always has the funniest segments . For example one day she brought back her high school prom date who she hadn't seen in years and they both wore their prom attire on the show. I was dying of laughter. Anyway, I love Ellen and really admire everything she has done.

To start, Ellen is hilarious. I don't know if you have seen her in the commercial for XM radio, but its a pretty funny skit that also features some famous people like Derek Jeter and Snoop Dogg. I haven't ever watched an entire episode of her show, but I have heard good things about it. She is definitely a funny person who has no problem speaking her mind and being herself. Obviously that makes her who she is.

I have heard nothing good about Jen's new movie, Derailed, but hopefully it will do alright. I would hate to see her struggle with her career at this point. She deserves a good box office hit to help with everything that she has been through the past year.

Ellen DeGeneres is possibly one of the funniest people on television. I love her sense of humor and it doesn't take much for her to be funny. She just acts herself on her shows and she has millions of people laughing. I've rented her made-for-HBO stand up act twice, it is hilarious! I recommend seeing it. Everything she talks about in it is an everyday thing that has you laughing for weeks after you watch it. I remember in one of her episodes she randomly had a blow-up slide outside the studio and she slid down it over and over again. She looks like she's always having fun.
I think Jennifer is trying to keep her romance secret with Vince because she's probably tired of all the rumors and gossip that spreads about her and Brad, and she doesn't want to deal with it with Vince too. She's probably sick of hearing about her failed marriage and doesn't need the added attention to her new love life. It seems like she's trying to take control back, and that's good for her.

In response to your question about if we like Ellen, I just wanted to say that I absolutely love her talk show and I also used to watch her sitcom at night when it was originally on. I am so happy that what people thought would be the “end” of her career was actually just the beginning to a part where Ellen seems to be able to be more open and more herself. Like you, I think Ellen is hilarious and every time I laugh out loud!! All of the bits that she does in between her dancing and her first guest always makes me smile for sure.

Ellen is totally hilarious. I love her show, and her humor. Do you guys remember when she had like a sitcom TV show back in the day? That was hilarious as well. I also hear that Derailed is awesome. Jennifer was on Conan and he was all about it, and clearly anything that Conan thinks should be the opinion of the general population. She is beautiful though, and so down to earth. I am so sad that Friends is over. Its funny when you look back at the old ones and she is totally not that hot, and Courtney Cox looks like Christina Ricci and Chandler is like immaculately skinny because he was addicted to pills.

I don't know too much of Ellen DeGeneres but I watched her when she hosted the Emmys and she is pretty funny. Also, her girlfriend (who I never realized was gay) is extremely hot so it seems that Ellen has a lot going for her right now. My congratulations to her.
It's probably best that Jennifer Anniston isn't talking about her relationship with Vince Vaughn. Her marriage with Brad Pitt was always in magazines and we are still hearing about their divorce. I'm betting that whole ordeal was pretty painful for her and she wants to keep her personal relationships private. I think that is a good idea although it definitely has to be pretty tough.

I LOVE ELLEN! i think she is hilarious. I don't think a majority of viewers today really care abuot her sexuality. She makes everyone who watches her show laugh, and thats all that matters.
I'm glad that you wrote about this article, because I saw the cover and was dying to read about it, but didn't get the chance to pick up the magazine. I think her story is compelling. No one should have to deal with the adversity that she did, but it did make her stronger. She has come out on top, and really, thats all that matters now. As long as she's happy :)
